Chapter Two: Celebrites!

“Holy sh—!” Jean yelled, pulling up to the concert building.

“Jean, I told you there were going to lots of people here” Kimberly grumbled.

“I didn’t think this many people would show up early!” Jean jumped out of the taxi, pulling Kimberly with her.

    “Early?” Kimberly asked. “How early?”

“Um, about 3 hours…” Jean said meekly.

    “3 hours?! Jean!” Kimberly yelled.

“What? I wanted to make sure we got in line so we wouldn’t have to fight over the aisles to our seats” Jean shrugged.

“Then couldn’t we come a little late, instead?!” Kimberly looked at the huge group of people in front of the building.

“We might miss something!” Jean exclaimed.

“Like what? Robert Pattin-whatever sitting down? Big whoop” she groaned.

“Most girls like to watch me sit down” a deep voice said behind them.

“Not this girl” Kimberly turned to see Robert Pattinson standing behind them; his bronze hair wild, his eyes fogged, and stubble on his jaw.

“And why not?” he raised an eyebrow; his British accent noticeable as he spoke. He fixated his tuxedo jacket, and smoothed out the front of his dress shirt.

“I’m not into British vamps” Kimberly shrugged.

     “You’re R-R-Robert P-Pattinson…!” Jean shouted in a whisper.

“I’m also Edward Cullen, Tyler Hawkins, Cedric Diggory and Jacob” he answered coolly.“Twilight, Remember Me, Harry Potter, and Water for Elephants!” Jean said excitedly.

“That’s Jean,” Kimberly pointed to her best friend. “She’s a little funky in the head”

“And you are?” he asked, holding out his hand for her to shake.

“Kimberly Marie” she shook the celebrity’s hand, silently thanking god she’d remember to put lotion on after she’d showered. She didn’t like Robert Pattinson, but getting to shake a celebrities hand was a once in a lifetime chance for her.

"Robert” he said, then held his hand out towards Jean.

“Jean Danielle Miller!” she said, shaking his hand and holding it for awhile.

Robert let Jean hold his hand, smiling the whole time acting like he did this every day. And he probably did. “You girls here to see me play?”

Jean said, “Of course!” the same time Kimberly said, “She made me come” and pointed to Jean.

“You guys have V.I.P passes?” he asked, digging in his dress pant pockets.

“Nope” Kimberly popped her lips on the ‘p’.

“Here” he put the lanyard cords over the both of their heads and headed towards the front of the building, where all his other fans were screaming, and grabbing at him frantically.

                           ***-__-***

“Oh my god! That was amazing!” Jean yelled, jumping into the closet cab.

    “Yeah, sure” Kimberly shrugged.

“You have to admit you had a good time!” Jean hit her gently in the shoulder.

    “Yeah, sure” Kimberly repeated, yawning.

Jean combed her fingers through her pale blonde hair, always naturally straight, and pulled the ends in front of her face to look at them. Her baby blue eyes icy and cold as she stared at the strands as they fell back to her shoulder. “What? Do I have a booger hanging from my nose or something?” Jean brushed her fingers under her small nose, rubbing over the bridge of it quickly.

“No, why would you think that?” Kimberly laughed.

“You have a real problem” Jean laughed with her.

“How so?” Kimberly leaned against the door of the taxi, and looked at her best friend.

“You can have the most amazing night ever and act all calm and collected when on the inside I know you’re screaming and dying to yell it to the world” Jean pointed her finger her friend.

“Yeah, right, that’s it” Kimberly rolled her eyes.
